Our October Disneyland trip
In October, we went to Disneyland with my sister's family and with Jeff's sister's family. The kids travelled really well, but my kids had fevers the first couple days of the trip. They didn't have as good of a time as I would have wished. It was fun to have family there to swap riders. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn across the street and just walked there every day. It was busier than we had hoped. Sunday was crazy with long long lines. We had an OK time, but will wait a while before we go again. Here are some of the pictures we took, only four months ago.
Kate riding on her daddy's shoulders all tuckered out.
Molly and Gabe playing in the letter A of California.
Eric, Tyler, Brayden, and Gabe messing around in the Toy Story ride line.
My beautiful Molly in those hot 3D glasses!!
Kate's bitter beer face.
Blake, Gabe, Mater, and McQueen. The boys thought that the cars were real!! How cute!!

The first time Kate let me really do her hair!!!
After many attempts, Kate sat still long enough for me to really do her hair. This was the result! I thought she was so cute that I had to take pictures and do a post. Isn't she adorable?!! She is mine, I admit i have a particular fondness for her, but dang! What a doll. The others are so cute too, I just don't get many cute pics of Kate. She doesn't cooperate at this age.

Our hole
It is so nice to see the hole there and the footings in. It isn't much, but it is something. It makes me feel like we are so much closer to being done. It'll be nice to see it all come together.

We done did get a hole dugged today!!
So, FINALLY!!!! We go a hole dug today. There is proof that there will sometime soon, be a house the piece of property we own. I took tons of pictures of the mounds of dirt, but Jeff is doing bills on our computer, and I can't get the pics uploaded. I'll have to do it on tomorrow's blog entry. You would not believe the mounds of dirt that are made by digging holes for houses right next to each other. It is crazy!! Too bad it is so cold and that the ground is so muddy, because I think the kids would have a huge blast playing on the mounds of dirt. I can guarantee that the kids will have plenty of time to play in the dirt once we are in the house. We won't be getting a yard in anytime soon. I really think that all this blogging-every-day thing will prove is that I am pretty boring!!

Confessions of a Crappy blogger
So, it is true! I am a Crappy blogger! I did pretty good until we moved, but still, I was starting to fall into crappy blogger syndrome before the move happened. I am trying to reform myself and become an awesome blogger, but no promises! I am going to try to blog every day, at least for a while.
So many funny things happen in this Huffaker-Huffaker-White house, that it would be a shame not to share. Some of the things that have happened, we could not experience in a home of our own. ie: Gabe was throwing a fit one morning about his cereal, so, grandma went outside and got him a bowl of snow. That put an end to it. Gabe has, also, enjoyed learning how to feed the birds. For a while, he was going out each afternoon with grandma, to feed the blue jays peanuts. He and grandma would stand still with peanuts on their hands so that the blue jays could get to know them. It was cute to watch. Another thing that happened was, grandma fell down outside in the snow. She was all by herself and couldn't get up because everywhere she pushed with her hands, she'd sink. Finally, after alot of trying, she got up. When she came in the house, Gabe said to her "I saw you out there, grandma. You looked funny."
Today, we went down to see the holes being dug for our house and the white's house. As I was explaining things to the kids, Molly had an ah-ha moment. She said, mom this is going to be so easy. I was confused. Building this house is going to be easy? No, when we live in our house, we can just walk over to Brayden's house. We won't have to drive. It will be so easy. It was great to see her face while she was so proud of herself for making such a great discovery.
