How have 3 1/2 years gone by?! I can't believe that the twins are old enough to go to preschool. I hate to admit that it is a day I have waited for for a long time. Having twins has had its hard moments and it is so nice to finally think that we may be at an age where we can start to have hopes of rationalizing with them (vs. the all out tantrums and screaming). It is so nice to send them off for 2 hours twice a week and know that they are learning and having fun. It is so nice to have this time to spend getting things done that I would otherwise have to do with the two pulling at me. I am also enjoying spending time alone with Kate. We are just doing a neighborhood preschool where there are 6 kids and each mom rotates and teaches about every 5 weeks. I've already taught once, and it was fun. I don't know that I would choose to be a preschool teacher, but its not so tough once a month.

The twins are in preschool!!!
We bought the kids their first pair of scissors. They were for their school boxes, but they had to practice cutting for days in advance. Look at the mess!! I cleaned messes like this three or four times in one day. But what do you do, the kids were having so much fun and it was helping them develop skills. I had to keep reminding myself of it as I watched them.

The kids had to get backpacks for school. Aren't they so cute. The backpacks are so huge and reach their knees, but they love to put stuff in them and carry them around.

Our first trip to Rigby, ID
This last weekend we went up to Rigby, Idaho to visit my sister, Melissa, and her family. They moved up there the last part of May and we haven't had an opportunity to visit them until now. We left early Saturday morning and got to Rigby around 1:30 (after one too many potty stops and a huge blow out, curtisy of Kate). We spent the day visiting, playing with my Cricut, and playing with the kids. It was so nice and relaxing! We haven't gotten to do that for a long time.
