More fun family photos

We had a neighbor of ours take some more pictures of our family, since on our last attempt, Molly wouldn't have a thing to do with it. Our neighbor, Kara, helps teach in our joyschool preschool, so, Molly and Gabe know her pretty good. And guess what?! They cooperated! Boy am I glad!!! I think we got some really cute shots of all of us looking at the camera. Now my problem is deciding which ones to develop and in which size. My house is going to be decorated in family photos pretty soon. I also found this awesome, free website for editing your photos. You can do all sorts of fun, professional looking stuff. If you are interested, check it out. It is http://www.picnik.com/. Which ones do you like the best? Rounded corners? More vintage looking? Etc.?

Halloween

The kids had so much fun this Halloween. They were a little confused on what it was exactly because there were so many parties. Today, Gabe asked me, "Mom, what do you want to be for Halloween." I said, "Halloween is over. We don't get to dress up and go trick-or-treating until next year." He replied, "No, Mom. Halloween is the day after Thursday." He was right. Halloween was the day after Thursday, it was just that it had already passed. It is so cute to see the kids try to grasp the concept of time and holidays.

Molly dressed up as a monkey this year and Gabe went as a fireman. He had worn his costume out before Halloween had ever arrived! He wore that thing to death. I guess we got our money's worth out of the costume. Kate went as a lobster. She was a good sport for not having a clue as to what was going on.

Going to the pumpkin patch!

We went to the pumpkin patch down in Syracuse a couple of times with preschool and the ward. It was only $4 per child!! What a deal! The kids got to go on a ride on a trailer behind a tractor and learn about how plants grow. Then they got to pick their own pumpkin out of the patch. After this, they had a huge area for the kids to play: a jump house, slides, teeter-totters, a train, animals, and pig races. The kids could not get enough!
